LIGI and Signal: closing edge protection for industrial gates

Pepperl+Fuchs, one of the world's leading companies in industrial sensor technology, is expanding its portfolio: Berlin-based Witt Sensoric, one of the European market leaders in door safety sensor technology, is joining the Pepperl+Fuchs Group's range. This creates a common basis for providing customers in the gate automation sector with comprehensive, future-proof and sustainable complete solutions. This includes the LIGI safety light curtain. As the widely used option for contactless closing edge protection on gates, it saves real money and time. Based on the latest LIGI platform, users can be offered the widest range of products for almost any type of door for new installations or retrofitting.

Another TOP product from WITT Sensoric is the SIGNAL12 closing edge sensor. Its electronics have been further perfected and it is now available in two versions, SIGNAL12LP and SIGNAL12ECO. The ECO version impresses with an extremely low no-load current. This enables the use of radio modules instead of the usual spiral cable.
